"Uncle Julius and the Anywhere Machine" is an enjoyable game for people of all ages in which you have to follow clues to find Uncle Julius who disappeared mysteriously while he was working in his lab. To find him, you need to solve a series of puzzles that unfold the story piece after piece, to finally discover his location: he has traveled with his anywhere machine.
The game features nice but not astonishing graphics; they are colorful and attractive, but not impressive. Also, the sounds and music are not the best. If you get stuck on one puzzle, you can always use the hint center, but you should try to solve them without any help. The game develops an interesting theme, science, which may incite kids to investigate certain subjects mentioned in the story. Even though you briefly interact with objects and people, you cannot store or use them in other stages like in other similar games. Still, "Uncle Julius and the Anywhere Machine" is a very enjoyable and addictive game that will keep you or your kids playing for hours non-stop. However, if you are looking for a more detailed game with great graphics, you'd better look elsewhere. |
